This client makes handmade heirloom quilts dyed with plant material, so her logo design is meant to represent the artisan, earthy quality of her textiles. Together we developed the concept of the horseshoe with a sagebrush branch to symbolize her brand, "Rusty Sagebrush." I hand-illustrated the image, and then digitized it for a refined and handcrafted style, and created custom "R" letterforms for her brand's typeface.
