Maya Elise and the Good Dream Logo

Maya Elise's music is dreamy, folky and sweet. She wanted a logo for her band, Maya Elise and the good dream. She wanted something different than the other folk musicians and something that brought on a whimsical, ethereal mood. I honed in on a circular background shape to symbolize the moon, and then added hand-drawn organic text. We chose the passion flower plant to swirl and vine around the image to further emphasize the dreamscape style. I created a color version by hand with water colors and further edited the image in photoshop. The result is a playful and starry design perfect for their genre.
